The Beyonder was given a task. To test you Earthlings and find out if you are worthy of your power. Despite three chances, he has failed. It has now fallen to someone else. I, the Living Tribunal, tried to intervene, to warn you, but now I have been discovered and must leave.
Heroes and villains alike have had their souls and minds shifted into each others bodies. Then the Formless Ones were sent to probe for each of their weaknesses and strengths.
Now, after a massive seige, the shadows flee from you and fly into the air. As you try to find their target or follow, your eyes focus on something else. A new threat and perhaps answers. In the sky, somehow above everyone at once, floats twelve beings. The shadows enter their bodies and vanish from view, leaving only questions. They are not in their true forms. Instead they have taken on personas inspired by the heroes and villains they have taken an interest in. You try to speak to them, but before you are able, they only say this:
"You're final trial is before you. Your souls and minds may be enough to sustain your world, but now we test your bodies, your very beings. Soon, you will fall."

Rules:
1) The twelve strangers did not count on beings possessing the one thing that could harm them. Relics. Only a Relic Holder can challenge one of the twelve.
2) Only those possessing a Relic can challenge one of the twelve. If they defeat one of the twelve, their Relic is exhausted of power and automatically taken from the holder. A tourney will be held the following week with the winner getting a shot at one of the twelve. The former Relic holder cannot participate in this tournament.
3) Relic battles will happen in shifts. One week the Relic holders will be immune to challenges and will get to challenge one of the twelve. The next week other characters can challenge them for their Relic or participate in a tournament to get a newly freed Relic.
4) Relic holders can only choose one of the twelve if they aren't 200 UNDER their current power level. A level 20 can challenge any of the twelve they wish. A level 1400 can only challenge a level 1200 or higher. These restrictions will be lessoned once choices make these rules invalid.
5) Relic Holders can choose to team up against one of the twelve if everyone involved agrees.
6) The defeat of one of the twelve grants the victor a special bonus only useable for Secret Wars 4. If more than one Relic holder defeats the member of the twelve, then the bonus is divided equally among them, rounded up.
7) If you are unchallenged for your Relic by Thursday Morning, you may choose to challenge one of the twelve a second week in a row.
