Rules
1. Every active member on the Superhero Showdown roster at the time this event begins will be involved. An OOC poll was done as well as a check of OOC and RP activity to determine who was active.
2. This event will be out of continuity and unprepared for. Once it is finally posted, however, there will be some fallout. Whether your character rememebers anything or everything will be up to you.
3. This event will occur right before the One Year Leap. You can figure it into your RP's as backstory or whatever you choose to do.
4. ANYTHING can and will happen during this event, so watch out. By anything happening, I mean death, unexpected challenges and obstacles aside from the average opponents, and various other factors that will come into play during the battle.
5. This year will be most single combat battles. But this year, everyone will be broken into groups. How many and how they are chosen is a mystery....
6. There are hidden opponents and challenges hidden throughout the competition. Each one has a different edge, a different catch, in order to stop you. If you beat them, you will be aptly rewarded.
7. Also scattered throughout are secret power ups. These power ups are permanent but rare. They are disguised as small rocks or gems.
8. You will get 2 stats and 15 dollars for losing a battle and 3 stats and 30 dollars for each battle you win. These rewards are in addition to anything else you are lucky or unlucky enough to find.
9. The Grand Prize is unlike anything anyone has ever seen and will make you unlike any other character.
10. Good luck to all competitors, you're definitely going to need it this year!
